Tellus Self Storage Adds Blog to Website

The new Tellus blog combines all our years of storage experience and puts it to good use by helping our customers save time and money by making better choices about how to rent and store their possessions. The Tellus staff has extensive experience with moving and storage and we understand how hectic moving can be. 2 Extra Cans Donating to the Loudon County Community

Outside of Knoxville is a small town called Loudon County. Loudon does not offer many services dedicated to helping those in need and due to the lack of jobs in the area local Charity organizations are no longer able to help. Many of the residents are on a fixed income and are having a hard time making ends meet until their checks come in at the beginning of the next month.

Enter the newly founded Cause of  ’2 Extra Cans’. With this new program struggling families are chosen or ‘adopted’.  Participant donors in the program will buy 2 extra cans of food (or other items) during each of their routine shopping trips. At the end of the month all extra purchases are brought together and sent out to the chosen families.

2 Extra Cans writes on their Facebook page “I know that if we could all do just a little, it could help a lot! It won’t take a lot of time or money, and I will be happy to pick up the food if you are not able to come. Also, in doing this, you would know where your contribution is going and that your chosen person or family is receiving their food.”
